Jacob Devine is a writer from Little Falls, Minnesota. Mostly, he writes plays, short stories, essays, and tweets, but he also blogs about theatre, film, the Oscars, and the National Spelling Bee. In the theatre world, he is a playwright, producer, actor, dramaturg, and an advocate for new work and diversity.
Jacob has been a literary/dramaturgy intern at Victory Gardens Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse. He was also an intern in the Public Affairs department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He is graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with a B.A. in theatre and concentrations in creative writing and playwriting.
